Serious injury RTC - Heywood

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Heywood in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 16 March 2006.
Shortly after 12.25am a silver Audi A3, travelling in a Westerly direction, was in collision with two unattended parked cars on Rochdale Road East.
The driver, a 20-year-old man from Rochdale, suffered serious head and facial injuries. Another 20-year-old man from Rochdale, the front seat passenger, sustained minor cuts and bruises in the collision.
Both were taken to Rochdale Infirmary where the driver remains in a serious but stable condition. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The passenger has since been discharged from hospital.
