Appeal for donations for Springhill Hospice Spring Fair

Date published: 07 March 2017

Springhill Hospice Spring Fair will see the familiar sights of stalls, games, tombolas, gifts, crafts, homebake and more, along with hundreds of visitors and of course, Springy the Frog.

The team are nearly ready for the happy hoards but have one last appeal for help, they’re asking for bric-a-brac, books, toys, shoes and handbags.

Annie Moran, events co-ordinator, said: “Spring is in the air so what better time to have a Spring Clean than now and by donating your bric-a-brac, books and toys to our team? We’ll be able to turn your donations into money, all of which will go directly toward patient care at the Hospice.”

You can donate pre-loved itemsby taking them to Springhill Hospice on Broad Lane between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm (seven days a week), or at Springhill Tea Room and Gift Shop, Broad Lane between 8.30 am and 4.00pm (Monday to Friday).

Springhill Hospice Spring Fair will be held at on Sunday 19 March between 10.00am and 3.00pm.

Free entry and free park and ride from Gordon Rigg Garden Centre, Kingsway.
