Jane Leach, Lis Kay and Melanie with some of the Children and the Money
The NSPCC Chairman of Littleborough District, Lis Kay, and Treasurer Jane Leach were asked to visit Tinkerbell Nursery on Featherstall Road Littleborough to be presented with the money raised by pupils on a sponsored walk to Hollingworth Lake and back again.
The visitors were greeted by the School Administrator Hilary Lord who explained that the idea was the brain child of Melanie who works at Tinkerbell Nursery.
Lis Kay said “the children raised £710 which will all go to helping children in the North West. The NSPCC in Rochdale is now going from strength to strength and would like to hear from any organisation who would like to do some fund raising for a very good cause”.
