Stamford House fireworks and a bonfire

Stamford House Rest Home surprised its residents with a dazzling display of fireworks and a bonfire on their grounds.
Those that did not want to venture out into the cold were able to watch from the comfort of the conservatory.
A spokesperson said: "When asked, some of the residents had not been to a bonfire night celebration since their own children were small.
"It certainly brought back some fond memories of black peas and treacle."
