Appeal for witnesses following sudden death

Traffic officers are appealing for witnesses after being informed of the sudden death of a 74-year-old woman at Rochdale Infirmary.
The woman, from Littleborough, died on Friday 2 December 2005. A Home Office Post Mortem examination carried out later revealed she died as a result of an injury she had received during a road traffic collision.
The collision happened at 9am, Tuesday 15 November 2005 as the woman was walking along the driveway of the Lancashire Health and Racquet Club on Heywood Old Road in Middleton.
The woman went to cross the drive when she was involved in a collision with a black BMW.
The woman suffered a knee injury and went to Rochdale Infirmary for treatment. The driver of the car was uninjured.
Anyone who may have seen the collision is asked to contact the Area 3 Road Policing Unit at Mottram on 0161 856 8473.
