Stamford House Rest Home Halloween Party

Date published: 07 November 2016

Stamford House Rest Home threw a Halloween party for residents and family on Friday 28 October.

It included free entertainment, face painting, outdoor play for children and food and drink.

A host of witches, vampires and grim reapers visited, to partake in the spooky festivity.

The home was creatively decorated and props made by residents, which really set the tone. Broomsticks, headstones, cobwebs were to be found everywhere.

Sheila Ruane, Deputy Manager, said: “It was a delight to see people really getting into the spirit of Halloween, and the costumes were very creative, I am already looking forward to the next year’s party.”

Resident Doreen dressed as a witch, wig, hat and said: “I enjoyed watching the grandchildren playing and having so much fun.”

The latest member of management, Ana Wilcox said: “Thank you to everyone for making the party a success and for your continued support.”
