Mohammad Shafiqul Alom charged with murder

Mohammad Shafiqul Alom (16/12/1981), of Kellett street, Rochdale, has been charged with murder, a section 18 assault and possession of a controlled substance, after Akbar Masood was stabbed to death.
He is due to appear at Manchester City Magistrates Court on Monday 7 November 2016.
Just before 4am on Friday 4 November 2016, police attended Kellett Street, Rochdale to reports that a man had been stabbed.
Officers in attendance found 22-year-old Akbar with stab wounds to his abdomen and began CPR.
He was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.
