'Co-operation Reborn' project
Date published: 05 November 2016
Rochdale - Birthplace of co-operation
The Rochdale Pioneers Museum is looking for local people to take part in a series of interactive and immersive workshops for its ‘Co-operation Reborn’ project.
Those attending the workshops will reflect on Rochdale’s co-operative heritage, understanding co-operative values and principles and exploring the role co-operation can play in communities.
The project aims to revive contemporary co-operation in Rochdale, to reposition the Rochdale Pioneers Museum as an active force for social change, reignite the original vision of the Rochdale Pioneers and inspire a group of local people to form a contemporary co-operative.
