Rachel Kelly to perform at Phoenix Artist Club in London

Date published: 25 October 2016

Rochdale singer Rachel Kelly will be performing at 'Love To Sing' at the Phoenix Artist Club in London on Sunday 13 November.

Rachel, 29, said: “I don’t think it’s really sunk in yet. I’m so excited, but so nervous as well. I’ll be singing with a live pianist for the first time. I usually do my gigs with backing tracks.

“It’s a fantastic way to get my name and voice heard more as well. You never know who will be watching and may take interest.”

Rachel has been playing gigs for five years, having left a band to go solo around 18 months ago. This will be Rachel’s first gig in London.

Currently, she sings covers "from older stuff like Abba, right through to present day music, and I also some Disney and musical theatre too".

Rachel will be singing four tracks, although she has only decided on two so far.

“I can give one away, I’m doing Part of Your World from ‘The Little Mermaid’,” she revealed.

Peak Productions Present is a monthly event set up by Michael Auger from Collabro, who won the eighth series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2014.

The November event will be hosted by James Partridge including performances by Harry Kit Lee and Emily Lynne.
