Two men charged following attempted armed robbery at Buersil Post Office

Two men have been charged with a number of offences following an attempted armed robbery at a post office in Rochdale last week.
The men were charged in relation to an incident on Tuesday 25 October at the Buersil Post Office on Oldham Road.
John Steven Welsby DOB: 13/06/1979 of Styhead Drive, Middleton has been charged with attempted murder, attempted robbery, possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.
A 17-year-old boy from Heywood has been charged with attempted robbery, possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.
They appeared at Rochdale Magistrates' Court , where they were remanded into custody.
