Cyclist knocked off his bike on Sandy Lane - car failed to stop

A cyclist was knocked off his bike on Sunday evening on Sandy Lane, Rochdale - the car that hit him failed to stop.
The cyclist suffered head injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.25pm on Sunday evening to a traffic accident on Sandy Lane. A cyclist had been in collision with a car and sustained a head injury. The car failed to stop.”
