Bishop of Salford John Arnold said: “For over a century, children from the Diocese of Salford have been raising funds for St Joseph’s Penny Appeal.

"Every penny collected is used to help make a happy home.

"I hope the children are encouraged by what they have achieved this year, and I look forward to seeing their future fundraising efforts.”
