Siddal Moor second in annual School Maths Challenge

Siddal Moor Sports College, represented by Adam Chidgey, Niall Dunn, Chloe Fairhurst and Lucas Smith, came second in the seventh annual Schools Maths Challenge hosted by Bury College.
The event was held to inspire students to test their maths skills against friendly competition and all the schools who took part rose to the occasion.
Sixteen schools took part in the event, which tested the student’s maths skills, ability to think quickly and work under pressure through timed activities.
The students from Siddal Moor went head-to-head against other schools from the area and narrowly missed out on the top spot to Tottington High School.
