On Tuesday 2 March, Year 1 and 2 children had a fantastic day at Legoland Manchester, enjoying the many fun activities at the centre. They got to experience a 4D cinema with water spray and foam bubbles. It was an amazing day for all. Thank you to all the staff and parents for helping the children have a great time.

On Thursday 3rd March it was fantastic to see so many of our children and staff dressed as their favourite book character. We had some great activities in the classes during the day and the Year 5 and 6 children got to stay behind to enjoy some Roald Dahl based learning and fun. We thank Mrs Hoyle for organising the day.

On Thursday Mr Moore, Mr Walsh and Mr Nadin went to Kingsway Activity Centre Sheffield to have a look at a new site for next year’s Year 5 residential. They had a great time and were impressed with the facilities and activities that were on offer to the children. More details to follow.

A number of our children have been to Rochdale Town Hall this week to take part in the music festival. They have done a variety of different things including public speaking and ukulele playing. More children are taking part next week.

Next week we will be holding our usual Parent Consultations. Letters will be sent home and appointments will be either before school or after the school day. We hope that parents will all be able to attend as this is a valuable part of the children’s learning to find out and discuss what is happening with the children in school. Any problems with arranging a suitable appointment please see the Class Teacher thank you.
