Rochdale town centre Metrolink stop flooded
Due to severe flooding on the Rochdale line, Metrolink is only able to operate trams between Manchester and Newbold. Metrolink passengers can use their tickets on the following First Rail Support Buses - Yorkshire Travel, Phantom Travel and Mario Travel between Shaw and Rochdale.
Many train services are expected to be disrupted on Sunday (27 December). Network Rail is asking customers not to travel unless absolutely necessary.
No train services will be running at all between Todmorden and Rochdale until further notice.
A spokesperson said: "We are working closely with our colleagues at Network Rail to keep the disruption down to a minimum and will be examining the condition of all our routes first thing in the morning.
"We would like to apologise for the inconvenience this will cause to our customers."
