Date published: 24 August 2017

Over three quarters of Middleton Technology School GCSE students achieved grades 4-9 in English and Maths, and 65% achieved five or more GCSEs at grade C/4 or above.

Top six achieving students were Alanah Bee, Stephane Tene, Emily Marcroft, Kirsty Fanning, Jacob Blakeley and Alexandra Drysdale.

Head Teacher Janine Kellett said: "We are delighted to report another year of consistently good outcomes for our students. This is exceptional considering the ongoing changes to syllabuses and assessments.

"My thanks go to all of the students, staff and parents for their dedicated support and hard work."
