Junior Parkrun volunteers
A beautiful morning in Queen's Park for the inaugural Junior Parkrun last week with 28 junior park runners taking part.
The Junior Parkrun is a 2k run for juniors only (4-14 year olds) held every Sunday at 9:00am.
A spokesperson said: "The aim is to have fun. Please come along and join in whatever your pace.
"Every week we grab a post parkrun coffee in the Queen’s Park Cafe - please come and join us!
"It's free, but please register before your first run.
"Parkrun is reliant upon volunteers, so if you want to help out either as a marshal or on the finish line you can leave a message at queensparkrochdalejuniorshelpers@parkrun.com"
