Queensway Commercials Limited (QCL), a new and independent business set up by the directors of James Nuttall Transport, has been set up to assist with the future of flexible MOT testing for operators.

With brand new testing lanes and equipment to meet the stringent requirements for DVSA testing, QCL aims to open up to testing operators and meet their operational needs with maximum flexibility.

QCL offers MOT testing, voluntary testing and Tachograph repairs and is soon to also offer Class 5 and 7 MOT testing.

Queensway Commercials offers an Authorised Testing Facility (ATF). These facilities are part of the DVSA’s initiative to reduce costs to the industry and to take testing closer to customers.

The newly established company offers flexible testing and plans to expand their testing window in line with the DVSA’s drive to alter testing to fit in with operators and maintenance providers.

In the QCL second lane, which is operated by the companies own personnel, staff have flexibility to offer additional services to the operator. This includes MOT pre-checks and class 5 and 7 testing.

Queensway Commercials Limited also has a fully authorised Digital and Analogue Tachograph Centre. Replacement Tachographs can be done by QCL's own on-site personnel. The team can also assist with two year and six year calibrations, gearbox re-seals and digital maintenance.

QCL can carry out tests for HGV and PSV operators and service agents. The company will work alongside those operators and agents to make sure they meet their operational needs.

Located one mile from the M62, at Junction 20, close to all arterial routes from all Manchester areas, QCL provides a safe and professional environment to all of those using their services.
