Easter weekend
Easter Sunday and the weekend that will be full of goodies and chocolate is just around the corner with plenty of Easter activities and treats set up and available across the borough.
Easter is a Christian festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus and this year, the celebrations will fall on Sunday 20 April.
If you are planning to head out on Easter Sunday then, The Crimble on Crimble Lane, Rochdale are holding a number of Easter themed activities for all of the family.
An Easter Eggstravaganza will be taking place on Easter Sunday with an indoor Easter egg hunt starting at 11:30am.
An Easter bonnet competition will also be held with children being able to display their Easter bonnets with pride. All bonnets must be completed before the competition and be ready to be judged on the day.
Arts and craft activities will also be ongoing from 12:00pm-4:00pm. Sunday lunch is also being served during that time with The Crimble advising that you book early as it is subject to availability.
Richard Stansfield from The Deckers Group said: “Easter is always an important family occasion. From Good Friday where we see an increase in the amount of fish being ordered, through to Easter Sunday, which is always a busy day for the institution of the British Sunday roast. With this in mind, the Crimble are holding some fun events to help keep the kids entertained on Easter Sunday.”
Two courses at The Crimble will cost £11.95 with three courses costing £13.95. Smaller portions for children are also available and they cost £7.50. Richard added: “We think its great value for money.”
