We are asking mums, dads, grandparents, and carers to help spread the word to younger family members.”

Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid. You’re an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave. By the end of an apprenticeship, you'll have the right skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career. Apprenticeships are an exciting option - you get hands-on training and the chance to put your skills into practice.

How apprenticeships work

Apprenticeships combine practical training in a job with study.

As an apprentice you’ll:

  • be an employee earning a wage and getting holiday pay
  • work alongside experienced staff
  • gain job-specific skills
  • get time for training and study related to your role
