Hopwood Hall College apprenticeship open event on Wednesday 7 February
You can explore the exciting world of apprenticeships during a special event being held by Hopwood Hall College and University Centre.
As part of its celebrations for National Apprenticeship Week, the college is welcoming visitors to a much-anticipated Apprenticeship Open Event at its Middleton Campus.
The Apprenticeship Open Event takes place from 4.30pm – 7pm on Wednesday 7 February 2024 and will welcome both school leavers and adult learners.
This will be exclusively about its diverse apprenticeship offer, including an opportunity to explore live vacancies for training programmes starting in 2024.
In addition, visitors of all ages will be able to hear from a number of local and regional employers, as well as their apprentices, who will be part of this annual event.
These business leaders – as well as the college’s Work Based Tutors, who will also be on hand to answer questions – are a fantastic source of knowledge for anyone interested in apprenticeship training.
This makes it an unmissable event for those who are interested in gaining coveted qualifications in a manner that allows them to ‘earn as they learn’.
Adam Williams, Apprenticeship Manager at Hopwood Hall College and University Centre, said: “There’s such a huge appetite for apprenticeships training right now, with more and more people choosing this route to gain new skills and turbocharge new careers.
“This event really is perfect for anyone who’s interested in finding out more about apprenticeships, including the invaluable opportunity to hear from some of the amazing apprentice employers who we work with.
“No matter your age we’d love to welcome you to this event and introduce you to the exciting world of apprenticeships.
“This includes any employers who are interested in growing their business and galvanising success through taking on an apprentice - we’re looking forward to welcoming them as well!”
Hopwood’s apprenticeship offering covers a wide range of routes and levels, meaning there really are opportunities for people of all ages and from all walks of life.
This includes area such as building services (electrical and plumbing), business and accounting, construction and trades, engineering and manufacturing, health and social care, hospitality and catering, and much more!
