Enjoy terrifyingly good events in Rochdale town centre this Halloween
This Halloween, Rochdale town centre will be taken over by an assortment of ghoulish celebrations – offering the perfect chance for little and big kids everywhere to get in on the spooky October action in 2023.
A scarily unique experience for absolutely everyone brave enough to get into the Halloween spirit! Come dressed as witches, ghouls, vampires, banshees and monsters from the other world for a truly unique festival experience.
Tricks and Treats at Rochdale Riverside
Rochdale BID has facilitated a range of spooktacular activities at Rochdale Riverside.
There’s a spooky garden coming to Rochdale Riverside throughout half term (23 - 28 October). Children are encouraged to get dressed up in their most terrifying costumes and enjoy an array of family-friendly activities which will include, music, games and craft activities. Add further fun to your Halloween fun by having your face painted by the spooktacular face painter.
If you find yourself at the Rochdale Riverside on Saturday 28 October be prepared for a frightening experience as you will come to face to face with the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington.
Halloween Trail
The BID's Halloween trail features 12 locations across Rochdale town centre. Participants can creep along the trail and explorers who complete the trail will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher from The Works.

Boo Fest at The Exchange Shopping Centre
Join the spooky fun at the Exchange Shopping Centre on Wednesday 25 October. Make sure you dress up and take part in the following activities:
- Spooky face painting
- Halloween fun and games
It will be a spooktacular day for all ages, so bring along your friends and have a spooky time.
Halloween Art at the Medicine with Lucy Berry
Lucy Berry Art will be hosting a Halloween art class for kids (5+) on Tuesday 24 October (11am-12noon and 1-2pm) at The Medicine Tap.

Share and Scare at The Exchange Shopping Centre
This Halloween, The Exchange Shopping Centre asks: What’s the spookiest thing you’ve ever seen? Share your answer on a Post-it note and be part of a community installation. Pens and Post-it notes will be provided.
The scariest story will win a £25 voucher from WHSmith. Stop by to share your scary stories!
