Rochdale’s first-ever exciting food and drink festival is heading to the town centre later this month, celebrating local food and drink venues with sensational offers, events and limited-time menus.
For 12 consecutive days, a wide variety of town centre venues will showcase tempting food and drink offerings, an ideal reason to explore Rochdale’s lauded food and drink scene.
With over 20 restaurants, bars and cafés taking part in the 12-day festival, diners and drinkers alike can experience new, show-stopping venues throughout the town’s ever-flourishing vibrant food and drink community: bag a bargain lunch, catch up over cocktails, indulge in a wickedly sweet treat or enjoy dinner with friends.
The inaugural Rochdale Food and Drink Festival is organised by the town centre Business Improvement District.
Business Improvement District Manager, Paul Ambrose said: “Rochdale’s food and drink scene has gained momentum and recognition over the last few years.
“The impact of the growing food and drink offer cannot be underestimated as it boosts footfall, it makes a significant contribution to the local economy and it is helping to change the perceptions of a centre that it is transforming.”
Mr Ambrose continued: “The Food and Drink Festival showcases some of the very best of Rochdale’s diverse offerings and encourages patrons to eat and drink at lauded local businesses who strive for ensuring a great customer experience.
“I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to connect with our town centre food and drink businesses and their owners.”
