Ten traineeships up for grabs at Rochdale AFC Community Trust for youngsters aged 16-24

Ten traineeships are up for grabs for optimistic young people with Rochdale Training.

Preparing youngsters for future careers, this pre-employment course is a flexible education and training programme run by Rochdale Training, aimed at young people aged 16 - 24, with a 70 hour work placement provided by Rochdale AFC Community Trust.

To run over a course of eight weeks, the traineeships are due to start on Monday 7 July 2021.

Along with full training being provided over the two months, young people will gain accredited qualifications, have one-to-one support from a tutor and a mentor, and have all expenses provided for (up to £50 per week).

Work placements are an important way to improve your employability and utilise your education before beginning a successful career. The work placements involved with this traineeship are varied and could include spending time working in various department, incling sports coaching, customer service, administration, marketing and even match day support at RAFC.

Designed to give you the chance to really get involved, take on responsibility and show the amazing things you are capable of - you will be doing real work alongside real industry experts, which will give an overview of how the local club is structured and operates.

On completion of this training and work placement, candidates will be supported to apply for suitable apprenticeship opportunities with Rochdale Training.
