New traditional family butcher is Rochdale’s choice for local meat

The sister shop to Littleborough’s famed Cryers butchers on Victoria Street, Rochdale’s Choice Family Butchers will take pride of place within the new Rochdale Market Foodhall and Café in the heart of Rochdale, overlooking the scenic River Roch and the historic Butts and Walk.

All meat supplied by Rochdale’s Choice Family Butchers is locally sourced, with Darren Rushton and Stephen Bamford, who runs Cryers, working alongside local farms and abattoirs to ensure the best possible product reaches their counters.

Better yet, they'll have a host of opening offers to tempt and tantalise your taste buds, such as or five sirloin or four rib-eye steaks for just £10.

A traditional butcher with a modern flair, Rochdale’s Choice certainly sets a high standard, serving steak minced premium whole cuts, succulent steak burgers, and tender legs of lamb.

Like any traditional butcher worth his salt, expect to see all types of meats offered over the counter, such as chicken, beef, pork and lamb, plus goodies like multipack bundles and hampers: perfect for any meat-lover, and especially ideal for Christmas!

Darren Rushton, who runs Rochdale’s Choice, said: “Rochdale is crying out for a traditional butcher, so we’ve brought a number of special offers to you for our grand opening.
