I do! Rochdale Wedding Show returns

Date published: 28 September 2016

Couples planning to tie the knot should head to Rochdale Town Hall on Sunday 9 October as Rochdale Wedding Show returns for 2016.

Promising everything you need to organise your perfect wedding with the help of the region’s finest suppliers, the day will feature a breath-taking catwalk show and over 50 experts specialising in everything from stunning dresses and cakes to classic cars, flowers and entertainment.

High street retailer Marks & Spencer has renewed its association with the popular event and will stage a catwalk fashion show during the day.

Visitors will get the chance to see the Register Office, the ceremony room, new Clock Tower Dining Room and take a Town Hall tour.

Rochdale’s stunning Grade I-listed Town Hall is always a popular wedding venue and its picturesque gardens are the perfect backdrop for wedding photos.

Councillor Janet Emsley, cabinet member for culture, health and wellbeing at Rochdale Borough Council, said: “It will be another fabulous showcase for some wonderful local companies and a great day out for brides and grooms, their friends and families.”

In between wedding planning, visitors can take afternoon tea in the Clock Tower Dining Room or make a pit stop in the Zodiac Bar to toast future happiness with a glass of bubbly.

Admission is free.

A limited amount of spaces are still available for 2016. If you are a local company interested in exhibiting at the event, email events@rochdale.gov.uk.
