It’s holiday season, but there’s little relaxing to be done until the flip flops are packed, the kids have got their swimming costumes, and the passports have been recovered from a pile of papers in the bottom drawer. With so much to think about, it’s easy to forget that one last important thing – how are you getting to the airport?
Thankfully, Rochdale based airport taxi service is here to take the wheel for you. Specialising in Manchester Airport taxis and transfers, award-winning J21 is the number one local company for getting you on the road to a perfect holiday.
Owner John Byrne, who lives in the borough, says he is proud of the service provided. He added: “We have been running since 2008 and already we provide over 70% of the business community with Manchester Airport transfers and an increasing amount of private customers just looking to start their holiday off in style. I love what I do and I’m proud of the success of the company.”
One customer sums up her experience below;
"Having booked a four star hotel for my annual holiday I wanted a transfer to the airport to be of an equal standard to start my holiday off in style.
"I’d not heard of J21 before I saw their advert and decided to check them out.
"J21 had over 170 reviews posted through an independent review company and are the only ever Airport transfer company to win ‘Business of the year < 1 Million’ at the annual business awards.
"Although all of the reviews were great, the one below really caught my eye.
'Having seen this company around the airport I decided to give them a try when I next travelled and I was really pleased I did.
I was upgraded from bronze to gold which was a lovely surprise and will always be welcomed! I can see why people would opt for that package as the car was impeccable.
The service was great and the meet and greet well done and preferable.
This is a family company and the owner's son, Michael, who was my driver was charming.
I will be using J21 for my next trip for sure.'
"After reading this review I contacted J21 by phone and the owner, John Byrne, answered my call. He offered me a complimentary upgrade from bronze to gold service as it was my first booking.
"I decided to book online as it was more convenient to book and pay online at www.j21airporttaxis.co.uk using my credit card, the process took just two minutes and the online booking was very easy to do even though I am not the best on a computer.
"I have just travelled with them again using the bronze service and was amazed at the quality. The driver told me that drivers have to work their way up the ladder at J21 and that in reality the bronze drivers are all in training to be top chauffeurs."
Employee development
Ultimately, the aim at J21 is to enable learning and development for drivers as individuals extending way outside the traditional work skills and knowledge cultivating in more exciting and liberating motivational opportunities.
All new recruits start as bronze drivers and through continued in-house training and upon attainment of NVQ level 2 qualifications in passenger transportation, progress to providing the silver and gold service. Indeed the youngest member of the team has just become a member of the ‘Institute of Advanced Motoring'.
With gold drivers mentoring the new recruits it enables a fast-track system to progress within the company with increased profitability for both mentor and mentee.
