Obituary: Family pay tribute to Michael Leslie James Hopson

The family of a man who died following a road traffic accident in Milnrow this morning (Monday 11 October 2010) has paid tribute to him.
Michael Leslie James Hopson was the rider of a Yamaha motorbike which was involved in a collision with a VW Polo.
Mr Hopson was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Mr Hopson was married to Lorraine and has two daughters aged 20 and 18 he also leaves behind his mother, brother and two sisters.
His wife Lorraine, said: "Mike was a loving father and took care of everyone. He was a big gentle giant."
His daughters said: "He was the one who looked after us all. He was the nicest person you could ever meet."
Mr Hopson was a HGV driver and had a passion for motorcycles and rock music.
Witnesses are asked to call traffic police on 0161 856 8802.
