Littleborough Business Centre coffee morning raises £340 for Macmillan

Callum Harrington has his legs waxed
A coffee morning held by Littleborough Business Centre in aid of Macmillan has raised £340.
The event included cakes and coffee, a raffle, a leg wax, an ice bucket challenge and a number of beauty treatments offered by local businesses.
Callum Harrington, of Rochdale Priory Rentals, volunteered to have his legs waxed and raised over £180 for the charity. The leg wax was performed by Stef of Shivaun’s Nails and Beauty in Littleborough.
Paul Webb and his daughter Kerri Webb raised over £90 for Macmillan by completing the ice bucket challenge.
Mini facials were offered to those in attendance from Lisa Christie of Lisaloo’s Tropic Natural Skincare and Makeup. Facials were offered for a £2 donation to Macmillan.
Tracey Marson, beauty therapist and owner of The Tranquility Room in Littleborough, offered eyebrow re-shaping, manicures and hand massages for a small donation to Macmillan and Farhat Ahmed from FM Cosmetics also provided fragrances and Aurile beverages to sample.

Michelle Matthews and the newly launched Littleborough based Brighter Side Cancer Support team were also on hand to offer advice and support.
An informative presentation on cancer and complementary therapies available for cancer patients was also given at the event by Gisela Goncalves of the Rainbow Well Being Centre, Heywood.
