Date published: 30 June 2014

RRG has raised over £17,000 at its inaugural RRG Group Ribbon Ball held this month in aid of three cancer charities.

Held at Lancashire County Cricket Club, this was the first charity ball arranged by RRG, and was held in aid of RRG’s chosen charities: Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention, Breast Cancer Care and Paddlers for Life.

The event, which was hosted by Key 103 DJ Darren Proctor, raised an impressive £17,258 through a live auction, silent auction and raffle, with all money raised used to support the important work carried out by the charities. Entertainment during the evening was provided by Divas Disguised and the Briefcase Blues Brothers.

RRG Group’s Managing Directors, Arran Bangham and Tony Cliff, were present at the ball along with Group Chairman Shigeru Sato. Arran Bangham commented: “We are thrilled with the fantastic amount raised and would like to thank everyone involved, including our business partners, suppliers and colleagues, who have helped to make this event a success.”
