Rochdale Law Association elect new President
Date published: 23 June 2014
Pamela Walsh, partner and Head of the Family Department at Hartley Thomas & Wright is the the new President of the Rochdale Law Association.
Pamela said: “I am proud to have lived and worked in Rochdale for over 12 years. My appointment is a great honour.
"Whilst we are a small association, we continue to go from strength to strength. This year we attended the annual conference of presidents and secretaries of local law societies in London for the first time in several years. We are attracting more members than ever and this year I aim to continue the good work undertaken by my predecessor Amjad Malik, the association's first Asian president.
"We are also taking active steps to raise funds for local charities and in my first act as president, I have co-ordinated a number of our member firms who will walk together to support the Springhill Hospice in July 2014."
