Leading Ladies fashion boutique opens

Date published: 20 May 2014

A new boutique, aptly named Leading Ladies, has been launched by Danni Sharrocks.

Danni has worked in retail for seven years and said that setting up her own shop, on Edenfield Road in Rochdale, “is a natural progression”.

Leading Ladies sells a range of female fashion items, including clothing and accessories and will be updating weekly to keep on trend with the latest catwalk fashions.

The boutique opened its doors on Saturday (17 May) to a reception of eager clientele who were treated to complimentary bucks fizz.

Danni said: “The opening went really well. The day was busy but it stayed fairly steady so I could get round and speak to all our visitors.

"The support from the town has been overwhelming; we’re really pleased with how it’s gone. ”

Danni added: “I wanted to do this as I’m getting to a time in life were I may want to start settling down and having a family, so this will hopefully give me the security I need.”

The shop is situated above Brian Andrews hairdressing salon and Danni explained: “Brian has been very supportive and welcoming. It’s all going great.”
