Chris Fletcher celebrates ten years at the Chamber

Date published: 21 November 2013

This is a special month for Director of Policy & Communications Chris Fletcher as it marks a decade working at the Chamber.

Chris first came to the Chamber in 2003 as Local Manager for Wigan. He was promoted to the position of Policy Director in 2008 and became Director of Policy and Communications in July 2012.

Chamber Chief Executive Clive Memmott said: “On behalf of everyone here at the Chamber and all our members, I’d like to offer Chris my warmest congratulations on reaching this milestone and thank him for all the great work he has done for the Chamber and for his ceaseless enthusiasm and energy.

“Chris has been involved with all of the key issues affecting the Chamber and its members over the last 10 years, right from the congestion charge through to HS2. Most recently he oversaw the successful rebranding of the Chamber, which has been very well-received by members and non-members alike.

“He has also made a valuable contribution to national policy and campaigns through his work with British Chambers of Commerce.”

Before joining the Chamber Chris was Business Development Manager at Young Enterprise and a Small Business Advisor at NatWest.
