EEF North West comment on Nick Clegg speech

Commenting on yesterday’s speech by the Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, EEF North West Region Director, Darrell Matthews, said: “By calling on business and industry to engage, it’s good that the Deputy Prime Minister has attempted to widen the debate.
"What we really need to be talking about is not just the consequences of leaving, but how we secure the benefits of our membership.”
EEF will be publishing industry’s view on membership of the EU in a major report and survey to be published on Monday 14 October.
