Rochdale Training gains silver award

Date published: 13 September 2013

Rochdale Training has successfully achieved Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Silver Award.

The company works closely with employers and learners to provide a range of training services. These include apprenticeship training, commercial courses and training to support those who are unemployed. Over the last forty years the company has grown considerably and now provides training throughout Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

Commercial Manager, Jeremy Roberts said: “The Rochdale Training team is very happy to have achieved this prestigious award. It recognises the high standards all Rochdale Training employees work towards. It’s very important to us, apprentices and other learners achieve their full potential through the very best Information, Advice and Guidance."

Inspiring IAG is a quality award which focuses on careers education, and/or information, advice and guidance (CE/IAG).

It was originally developed by a group CEIAG specialists for the Greater Manchester area and now serves other areas, including the county of Lancashire.

The award has been designed to enable organisations to not only deliver and be recognised for good quality careers education, information, advice and guidance, but to also assist them to meet legislation, prepare for inspection and provide a better service to young people.

Inspiring IAG is a three stage process and organisations progress through each stage to achieve the full award.

The Rochdale Training team will continue to work hard to achieve the Gold Award.
