Liam Bowmer has pledged his company’s support for the Midshire F72 fundraising campaign.
Midshire F72 beat the world record for the world’s longest football match, which lasted 72 hours and is the equivalent of 48 games played back to back.
The organiser, Midshire’s Nick Rose asked Liam Bowmer to help with the final push for the fundraising campaign as it culminates in a glittering gala dinner.
The Midshire F72 match, played in May, broke the 1,000 goal barrier and has now raised around £40,000. This has been described by Mr Bowmer as “an incredible achievement”.
Since Midshire won the contract to handle The Business Depot’s printing and scanning requirements, they have been working together to share ideas and business leads. Given this relationship Mr Bowmer, a director of The Business Depot was more than happy to contribute towards the Midshire F72 charity event.
The Business Depot’s sponsorship of the gala dinner was an important contributing factor to the overall success of the initiative which was conceived to support Francis House Children’s Hospice.
