Boost for Rochdale delivery company

Date published: 15 April 2013

An established Rochdale delivery company has teamed up with market leaders Palletforce in a deal announced last week (7 April).

James Nuttall Transport, of Castleton, changed networks as they bid to continue to build towards the future.

And with an established customer base already in place after 50 years of service, the company hopes this latest move can help them expand even further.

“We continue to be optimistic about the future, we are orientated towards our customers, employees and community and continue to support local businesses,” Director Jane Nuttall said.

“Palletforce has a good reputation and we are working with good companies, many of them long-established family companies, such as ours.

“The change feels right and contributes to our enthusiasm for the future."

Fellow Director James RH Nuttall explained: “We continue to trade on the strengths of a family business and offer an unrivalled service.

“Any Customers’ seduced by the competition very often return. We have a loyal management team who’s contribution is essential in continuing to offer a reliable and quality service across a diverse customer profile.

“Customers want to make one call straight to the right person when they allocate a haulier and know that their transaction will take place, as they’ve requested.”

Palletforce, who are based in the Midlands, work with nearly 90 independent companies to produce Europe’s leading Palletised distribution network.

Durham-based BM Stafford have also been announced as a new shareholder member and Michael Conroy, Chief Executive of Palletforce explained the additions: “Both of these companies have demonstrated the same commitment to quality and passion for excellent service that runs throughout Palletforce,” he said.

“Adding two more well-established and well-regarded members to the Palletforce team will further strengthen the network and supports our growth strategy throughout the UK and Europe.”
