The Baum
The Baum, in Rochdale town centre, has been named CAMRA Pub of the Year 2012 in the Rochdale, Oldham and Bury area.
The pub, situated on Toad Lane, won the Pub of the Year award for Rochdale and then went onto the Rochdale, Oldham and Bury final where they scooped first place.
Owners Simon and Heidi Crompton will be presented with a plaque next month from CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) which they can display in the pub.
Mr Crompton said: “It’s superb, I’m really pleased and it is very exciting.”
The pub also won back in 2009.
Last year the pub was recognised at the Rochdale Town Centre Business Awards in the Best Long Serving Business Category and the Best Bar None Pub Category.
