New website is the height of fashion

Date published: 12 January 2010

Town centre clothes retailer Denis Hope have improved their award winning shop front by boosting their online presence.

Last month the Drake Street's window displays were named the best in the borough and now the fashion outlet has a website to match.

Rochdale residents have been buying clothes from Denis Hope since 1959 and now people from across the country can purchase their favourite designer labels via their new eCommerce website.

Oliver Hope, eCommerce manager at Denis Hope, said: "We were delighted to be awarded for our shop front over Christmas and I’m sure our new website will add to that success.

“I’m really pleased with the services provided by Rochdale Online. Everything has gone smoothly in getting the site up and running and I’m looking forward to it being a success.”

Featuring a stylish contemporary design, the new website, designed and launched by Rochdale Online, has comprehensive men's and women's clothing sections, allowing customers to locate their target products by a wide range of selection criteria, and to view high-definition quality images before purchase. A handy pop-up size guide is a useful addition to each product display page.

Ian Kimber, Technical Director at Rochdale Online, said: "Running a busy high-street outlet means there are limited resources to allocate to updating and maintaining a complex shopping website, so the eCommerce product catalogue and content management system were developed from the ground up to be simple to use, yet effective and efficient."

Customers can sign up to Denis Hope's mailing list to remain informed of upcoming offers and special promotions, and there is also a frequently updated blog to keep website visitors informed of the latest Denis Hope developments and fashion industry news.

The site also details Denis Hope's suit hire department, with downloadable brochures and price lists for special occasions.
