Car dealership enters administration
Date published: 01 December 2009
After more than 30 years in the trade, North West car dealership Lythgoe has gone into administration.
Lythgoe's four dealerships, which include a Citroen and Mazda showroom on Kingsway, Rochdale, are being run as going concerns.
The company employs more than 100 people across its operations in Rochdale, Bolton and Oldham and some jobs have already been lost.
The joint administrators say they are hopeful that a buyer will be found and that they are actively seeking a buyer for the four sales sites as a priority.
