Local firm given contract for new housing development
Date published: 14 July 2009
A local building firm has been given the green light to build 22 new homes by Rochdale Boroughwide Housing's subsidiary new-build group Brighter Horizons.
The registered charity has awarded the development of its first new homes, on Croft Street, to Richardson Projects.
The £2.1 million scheme will deliver 18 bungalows and four family homes.
Ultimately Brighter Horizons hopes to develop 150 homes over three years.
The charity’s trustees include representatives from RBH, Rochdale Council, plus several independent housing professionals.
