A treat for bikers this weekend

Date published: 15 April 2009

Motorcycle dealer Rochdale Honda are having an official launch event this weekend, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April.

The Milnrow Road centre is welcoming riders of all ages and experience to take part in test rides, win a host of prizes and meet some of the stars of the British Superbike racing scene.

Kevin Goodiwn, who runs the dealership, said: “We are really excited about the open weekend and are looking forward to meeting as many people as possible.

"We’ve been open for a few months now and have been so encouraged with business so far, but this open day and more official launch event offers the chance to get together with bike fans, experience the latest technology, test Honda’s bikes and also meet some of the faces who race some of our fantastic machines."

Rochdale Honda opened its doors two months ago and they are hoping to showcase some of their top bikes to customers new and old across the two open days.

Refreshments on the day are being organised by the local Cubs who are aiming to raise money for their nominated charities.

The inaugural event takes place from 9am to 5pm both days at 48 Milnrow Road, Rochdale.
