Waste disposal facility re-opens
Date published: 17 March 2009
The waste disposal facility on Entwisle Road has temporarily re-opened because small businesses and local traders had nowhere to get rid of their waste.
Mixed trade waste can be dumped at the site, which re-opened earlier this month after it was closed to traders in January last year.
Waste will be charged for, and the facility will be only be available for an interim period until the new facility at Waithlands is in operation.
Due to the restricted available space at Entwisle Road, the site will not receive segregated waste or materials separated for recycling such as wood, cardboard or garden waste.
