Townhead Post Office ‘temporarily closed until further notice’

The Townhead Post Office
The Townhead Post Office – which has been closed since November 2022 – has not been given a re-opening date.
The branch has been closed on a temporary basis due to ‘operational reasons’ just four months after moving from 120 Yorkshire Street to 142 Yorkshire Street.
A Post Office spokesperson said: “Townhead Post Office has been temporarily closed since November due to operational reasons. It is not yet known when the branch will re-open.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Alternative branches include South Parade, Milkstone Road, Spotland Road and Hamer.”
