Springhill Hospice challenges local businesses to take on The £30 Corporate Challenge

Springhill Hospice is once again launching its corporate challenge, for businesses to turn a £30 loan into as much profit as possible over a three-month period.

Local businesses have been invited to take on the challenge and work as a team to create innovative fundraising ideas. So far, the likes of Bluebird Care, Rochdale Training and Springhill Hospice themselves have signed up to take on the £30 corporate challenge.

The first ever corporate challenge took place in 2019, with 13 workplaces raising a total of £27,490.

John Keogh, Director at Bluebird Care, said: "I have signed up to the Corporate Challenge supporting Springhill Hospice because my business sees the organisation as both inspirational and aspirational.

“It fits easily within our wider Corporate Social Responsibility and we are proud to support the amazing work that the hospice does.

“It gives us an opportunity to get out into the community and see how the hospice has touched so many lives locally."

Vicki Murray, Corporate and Partnerships Fundraiser at Springhill Hospice said: “We are so excited to be running the Corporate Challenge again this year. The businesses we already have signed up have come up with some fantastic, creative ideas and are in it win it.”

The £30 Corporate Challenge launches on Sunday 1 August and ends on Sunday 31 October 2021.

At the end of the three-month period, challengers will return all profits to Springhill Hospice, along with the original £30 loan. All challengers will be invited to an awards ceremony where the winners will be crowned the £30 corporate challenge champions.
