Škoda awards success for Rochdale

RRG Škoda General Manager Paul Arden picks up the award from TV Presenter Angellica Bell and Škoda UK Sales Director John French

The Rochdale branch of RRG Škoda has won a top prize at the Škoda UK Retailer of the Year 2019 annual awards.

The site, located at Kingsway, won first place for used vehicle sales across Škoda’s 128-strong retail network.

The company’s sister site, RRG Škoda Bolton, took top honours in the Service and Parts Category.

RRG Škoda General Manager Paul Arden was delighted to receive such recognition for the centres.

He said: "We were absolutely delighted to have picked up these awards for each of our centres, RRG Škoda​ Bolton and RRG Škoda​ Rochdale. The awards are based on a very fair, balanced score card and is testament to the hard work from every single member of the team and their dedication.​"

John French, Škoda UK’s head of sales operations, said: “The retailers form the backbone of our business and during a challenging 12 months for the industry as a whole they were able to grow our sales volume and market share, while continuing to deliver fantastic service.
