The Royal Toby Hotel to refurbish hotel accommodation

Date published: 27 February 2020

The Royal Toby Hotel, owned by the Deckers Hospitality Group is in the final planning stages of a £750k refurbishment to its hotel rooms.

In March 2020, The Royal Toby will begin its 9-month upgrade to the guest accommodation in its 53-bedroom hotel. Interior design company, Tinsley Wood will be undertaking the project following the hotel’s recent refurbishment of its popular function venue, The Rhyddings Suite back in 2019 and the hotel’s bar and restaurant in early 2017.

Robert Walker, Retail Director at Deckers said: “The refurbishment of the hotel is long overdue and by far one of the biggest projects we have planned for the site. We are very proud to have The Royal Toby Hotel in the Deckers portfolio and invest the time and money into making it the number one place to stay, dine and celebrate in the Rochdale area”.

Clare Poole, Deputy General Manager at The Royal Toby said: “This has been an exciting project that myself and colleagues have had the pleasure to get involved with. I’m very pleased with the proposed designs that the design team have come up with. The refurbishment helps to secure the future of the hotel by allowing us to showcase the beauty that we have to offer to return and future guests”.

The refurbishment is set to begin in March 2020 and end in November 2020.
