Rochdale Business Awards 2016

Andy Hoyle hosted the Rochdale Business Awards at Rochdale Town Hall on Friday (4 November) night.

Guests enjoyed a champagne reception before moving into the Great Hall for a meal and the awards ceremony.

Awards were given out in eight different categories.

  • Business of the year (turnover more than 5m) - Boulting Environmental Services

  • Business of the year (turnover 1m to 5m) - IP24

  • Business of the year (turnover up to 1m) - Target Fire Protection

  • Business person of the year - David Harris

  • Most promising business - Middle Creative

  • Apprentice of the year - Carla Heaney

  • Employee of the year - Gary McGill

  • Employer of the year - The Casey Group

Entertainment was provided by singer/songwriter Babalola JR.

The awards were established in 2011 to celebrate the achievements of businesses and business people within Rochdale Borough.
