Good Bubble secures Sainsbury’s deal
Middleton toiletries company, Good Bubble has landed a national distribution deal with supermarket chain Sainsbury’s, which will sell its products at stores nationwide.
A total of 240 Sainsbury’s stores will receive a range of children’s superfruit bath products, which will be on sale from this Sunday (31 July).
The local business has already proved successful, with distribution deals in place with Holland and Barrett, Whole Foods Market and Ocado.
In August last year, Good Bubble founder Amy Wordsworth appeared on TV show Dragons’ Den and went on to secure backing from dragon Deborah Meaden.
Commenting on the Sainsbury’s deal, entrepreneur Amy said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have Sainsbury’s on board and to have secured space on their shelves across a good number of stores.
“Our goal of bringing fun, effective yet gentle toiletries for little ones to the bathrooms of every family in the UK is becoming real.“
Deborah Meaden, of Dragons’ Den, commented: “It’s great news and fantastic that Sainsbury’s see the potential in safe, gentle, good, affordable bubbles.”
