TBA Protective Technologies (TBA-PT) is getting behind the local community by becoming major sponsors for Rochdale Hornets.
Rochdale Hornets play a big part in the local community by providing coaching events, competitions in schools, as well as the foundation’s mentoring programme which encourages Rochdale to be healthy and active by getting involved in rugby.
By providing substantial sponsorship, TBA-PT has ensured that the club, in tandem with the Rochdale Hornets Sporting Foundation, can continue to provide schools and communities across the borough with more opportunities to get involved in sport.
The support from TBA-PT also extends to the Mosaic project, a voluntary organisation that works in partnership with local businesses to help build young people’s workplace skills and confidence. TBA-PT has been offering workplace visits and talks for secondary school pupils to give them a taste of what fantastic opportunities are open to them in the local area.
TBA-PT’s Commercial and Marketing Manager, Vivienne Fisher, added: “We are thrilled to be a part of this project and to have the opportunity to sponsor our local Rugby League team, Rochdale Hornets, who do such great work within our town.
"There are so many exciting events and opportunities through the Mosaic Mentoring Programme, and it really makes us proud to be a part of this network of supportive and inspiring people who want to build a stronger community, as well as bringing greater awareness to the opportunities that exist within local manufacturing.”
The new TBA-PT logo will feature on the front of the Hornet’s match day kit, as well as being displayed inside Spotland Stadium.
